Ostene
Ostene is the first biosoluble bone haemostat and is made from advanced AOC polymers. The use of Ostene as a water-soluble implant material to control bleeding from bone surfaces results in a new, modern level.
Ostene is a synthetic, biosoluble implant material:
- provides rapid bone haemostasis
- can be used on bleeding bone surfaces
- is fully biocompatible
- does not need to be removed the water soluble polymer degrades within 48 hours
- acts as a mechanical barrier without biochemical action.
